How we handle your information.

Bright Minds Learning is a Treasure Valley science-learning project run by Leslie Nichols. We collect contact information and general learning needs to respond to interest, explore suitable instruction, and manage any program that is later agreed. We do not share this information with third parties for marketing. You can request correction or deletion as described below.

What we collect

• Information you choose to provide on an interest or inquiry form: your name, email, optional phone, the learner's age or grade, general learning goals, schooling, timing preferences, preferred area, and notes.
• For a school or co-op inquiry: the organization, approximate group size, general student ages or grades, and proposed facilities or learning needs. Individual students' names and records are not requested.
• Standard web-server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp), kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
• If you reply to one of our emails, the content of your message.

What we do with it

• Respond to your interest and questions, consider compatible learning groups, and discuss a possible arrangement.
• Send proposed program details and, if instruction is agreed, relevant schedule, venue, and materials information.
• Maintain records of actual instruction and work completed, and discuss appropriate completion records or recommendation requests.
• Track Idaho Empowering Parents reimbursements where applicable.

What we don’t do

• Sell or rent your information to anyone.
• Share your information with third-party marketers.
• Use your student’s name, photo, or work in marketing without explicit written permission.

Website illustrations & student work

We currently use AI-generated lab illustrations to help explain the activities and teaching approach. These are not photographs of enrolled students or a confirmed classroom venue. Worked examples are teaching models, not student testimonials or measured program outcomes. We will add classroom photographs and student work only with appropriate written permission; participating in a class is not permission to use a student's image or work in marketing.

Where it lives

Interest and inquiry form submissions are stored in a private Microsoft Azure storage account controlled by Bright Minds Learning. Internal notifications may be delivered through our transactional email provider. Email correspondence lives in our brightmindslearninglabs@outlook.com mailbox. Both are protected by standard account security (strong passwords, multi-factor authentication).

We retain inquiry and program information for planning, correspondence, and a reasonable period of follow-up (typically 2 years). Program records may also be needed to document completed work or respond to a recommendation request. You can request earlier deletion or ask us to stop following up as described below.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• Tell you what we have on file for your student.
• Correct anything that’s wrong.
• Delete the record entirely (subject to any legal retention obligations).

Children’s privacy (under 13)

Interest forms for children are intended for parents and guardians, not children. Information about students under 13 is collected from a parent or guardian, used only to respond, plan suitable instruction, or operate an agreed program, and never used for advertising. Please do not submit sensitive student or health records through these public forms. This marketing site does not offer student accounts. Contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information provided about your child.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn’t set marketing or advertising cookies. The CDN-hosted CSS and font services we use (Tailwind, Google Fonts) may set technical cookies; we don’t run third-party trackers, ad pixels, or remarketing scripts.
